Dear Nurtured Entrepreneur,

You may read another newsletter or blog that has already clued you in to the latest tip on aligning with your good as offered through the teachings of Abraham-Hicks.  For my work-with-passion readers engaged in creative entrepreneurships, I want to be sure you know about it because it’s too good to miss.

Along the road to the power of positive thinking, affirming what we want, and setting intentions for our future, sometimes we hit a roadblock.  That’s because in response to our statements the Unbeliever Within, the Dubious Doubter, the Voice of Ego can sometimes easily sway us with remarks like,

“You’ve got to be kidding.”

“You can’t do that.”

“Not in this lifetime.”

“Don’t bite off more than you can chew.”

“That’s for other entrepreneurs, not you.”

This new tool that Abraham-Hicks calls a “grid,” bypasses that resistance with a delightful ease.  I’ve been working with it for a number of weeks and I can tell you that when I read my aligning statements I feel good, I feel confident, and I feel a happy anticipation of what’s coming my way.  What’s not to love?!

The key is in the very specific words used to begin each statement.  They feel so open that I experience no contraction when I use them.  No voice inside offers resistance because there’s nothing to resist.

“I love the feeling of …”

Should you be tempted to alter this lead-in stem for your statements, don’t.  Go with it and see how it works for you, how it feels to your whole being.

  1. Pick a subject with which you want alignment (health, house, relationship, just right clients, a motorcycle).
  2. Start each statement with “I love the feeling of …”
  3. Write 10 to 20 statements about your subject.
  4. Read them aloud and notice if any need to be tweaked.
  5. Read often, revise as needed, stay playful.

I’m not sure why they call it a grid.  I think of it as a flat grid or plane in time and space that I populate with my desires for the Universe to flow through.  It can be as simple as a list on a piece of paper, or put them on index cards, or something else that suits your fancy, but do write them down so they don’t remain just thoughts in your head.  There’s added power flowing from mind and heart, down the arm, and through the pen onto the paper!

What I chose to do was create a one page grid of squares that I filled in with my statements of alignment.  It holds fifteen squares and looks something like this:

Just saying that opening line puts a smile on my face … “I love the feeling of” … and leaves me feeling open to possibilities, clear headed, open hearted, and sure footed.

I love the feeling of connecting with you, dear readers.  Indeed I do.

Until next time …
